Gavin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Queens University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder - the premier global designation for financial professionals that reflects his commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, advanced investment analysis, and real-world portfolio management skills.
A natural collaborator and connector of people, Gavin regularly draws upon his extended network of experts within the Royal Bank Financial Group and beyond to help his clients with specialized investment solutions all practically tailored to each client’s unique Wealth Management Plan and Portfolio Strategy.
Gavin’s approach isn’t just about the numbers. Over the years, he’s dedicated time and resources to supporting education, the environment, and access to healthcare. He has served on foundation boards for Crescent School and The Atlantic Salmon Federation. His commitment to our community shines through his involvement in annual fundraising for St. Michaels Hospital and numerous RBC Capital Markets annual United Way of Greater Toronto Leadership Giving campaigns. Gavin has been invited to speak as a guest lecturer to Faculty of Law students at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Western Ontario.
Gavin spends his personal time with his wife Pia and their four young adult children. They especially enjoy time spent travelling and cooking, and staying fit outdoors…cycling, skiing, golfing, flyfishing, and backcountry canoe tripping.
